There is no easy way to demonstrate the soft skills of scheduling and communication. I will try anway.

I always send out a Google Calendar to the cast/crew so everyone can stay up to date on meetings and times.

In the description of the calendar event, I will add the location and who is expected to be there.

Pre-Shooting All Cast and Crew Email

Good afternoon everyone!

I hope everyone had a lovely spring break! We get to have even more fun this weekend on set for Rush! Please read below for important information regarding filming this weekend.

TIMES

We will be sending university approved excuses later this week for those called during class hours.

Official call sheets will be sent later this week. Tentatively, please expect most crew and all principal cast called all weekend. Featured partygoers and extras will be called on Friday and Saturday. Our expected set times are as follows:

               Thursday - TBD

               Friday – meal call 1:30pm, all call 2pm, wrap at 2am

               Saturday – meal call 5:30pm, all call 6pm, wrap at 6am

LOCATIONS AND PARKING
We will be filming on Thursday at the Venue. I will direct all called that day for parking.

On Friday and Saturday, we will be filming at REDACTED. Parking is extremely limited on this day. Please coordinate with your groups to fill your car if you are driving. I would rather each car be full upon arrival!

EQUIPMENT CHECKOUT

The equipment checkout is THIS WEDNESDAY at 4PM. Please meet at the basement entrance of the MDA. All crew is expected to attend, please contact me directly if you cannot.

MEALS

We will be providing two meals a day for each day on set. This is your final reminder to fill out the emergency contact/allergy/release form so I can accommodate any dietary restrictions. Those links are below.

COSTUMES

Cast should come in clothes that are easy to change in and out of! If you would like to come with your base makeup done, you can (but are not required to). ALL CAST IS EXPECTED TO DO THEIR OWN HAIR.

Ryan McCray-Smith, costume designer, has provided a list of guidelines for costumes. Cast should refer to this list as to what to wear and bring. Please keep in mind that everyone on set is mandated to wear close toed shoes.

We highly encourage that crew come in costume! It’s fun!!

ETTIQUETTE

Overnight sets are extremely taxing. We will have lots of water/food/energy drinks on set – utilize them. You should be mindful of getting a good night’s rest the night before. Base camp will be located outdoors for all three days of shooting, please bring bug spray if you feel you’ll need it.

We ask that all crew members be mindful of the residents around us at our shooting locations. Not only are we shooting, but people live there, we must keep the volume to a reasonable level.

If anyone has any questions, comments, or concerns, please let me know! If a problem of any kind occurs on set, please come see me immediately. There is no problem that can’t be solved, so long as it has been communicated.

Good afternoon, Fever cast and crew! 

I hope you all are excited for shooting this week! I have some updates regarding the film. Please pay special attention to the shooting times. 

Wednesday, September 17th from 12pm-12am

Thursday, September 18th from 12pm-12am

Friday, September 19th from 4pm-10pm

Saturday, September 20th from 10am-4pm

Please note that not all cast or crew will not be called each day, reach out to me if you need more information regarding when you will be called. Call sheets to come.

For catering, we are currently planning on doing Chick-fil-A (Wednesday), Jambalaya Shoppe (Thursday), and Canes (Saturday). These are subject to change but if you do not wish to eat those options, please plan to bring your own lunch. We will have a crafty table with limited snack and drink options, if you’re hoping for something specific please plan to bring it yourself.

Three people still need to fill out the emergency contact form. Next email I will name names. Fill out your sheet or I will smite you.

Please take a look at the Google Drive if you have not already. Department heads, make sure you have all the equipment/supplies that you need. Reach out to me if you do not have everything.
